The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has postponed the OMR-based written examinations for BCG Technician and Para Medical Assistant posts to July 29, 2026. Previously issued admit cards will remain valid.

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced the postponement of the OMR-based written examinations for the posts of BCG Technician and Para Medical Assistant in the Health & Medical Education Department. The revised schedule has been issued through an official notice dated July 21, 2026.
According to the notification, the examinations, which were originally scheduled for July 22, 2026, have now been rescheduled and will instead be conducted on July 29, 2026 (Wednesday). The Board has clarified that only the examination date has changed, while all other arrangements will remain unchanged.
Earlier Examination Date Revised
The affected examinations were notified under Advertisement Notification No. 07 of 2025. Initially, candidates were scheduled to appear for the examinations on July 22, 2026, in two separate shifts.

Shift I: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Admit Cards Already Issued Will Continue to Be Valid
The Board has also informed candidates that the admit cards issued earlier will remain valid for the examinations on the revised date of July 29, 2026.
This means that candidates are not required to obtain fresh admit cards for the rescheduled examinations, as the previously downloaded admit cards can be used for entry into the examination centres.
Admit Cards Available Until July 26
While confirming the validity of the earlier admit cards, JKSSB has also specified that the admit cards for these examinations will remain available on the official JKSSB website only until midnight of July 26, 2026.
